Mamamdova Sheker
The deputy dean on scientific works and Master’s degree program, Shakar Mammadova Idayat, graduated from the geography faculty of the Baku State University with honors diploma in 1990. She defended Ph.D. thesis on the subject “Exploration and forecasting of anthropogenic pollution in the air basin of Ganja city and the environs” in 1998. Assistant professor the scientific name has received in 2003. She works in the post of deputy of dean on scientific work and the magistrates in the faculty from 1999.
Since 1996 she has been working in the chair of Environment protection and efficient use of natural resources. In 2003 she obtained an academic rank of associate professor.
Currently she is working at a doctoral thesis on the subject “eco-geographic problems of atmosphere pollution in Azerbaijan’s large cities”. Since 1999 she has been working as a deputy faculty dean for scientific works and Master’s degree program. She is taking an active part in compilation and publication of curriculum at a Master’s degree program of the faculty, organization of classes, as well as in holding of scientific conferences and university events.
